Paul Pogba to join AS Monaco after doping ban ends

According to Fabrizio Romano, Paul Pogba will soon begin a new chapter in his career with AS Monaco — the club that finished third in French League last season.

The 32-year-old midfielder has been absent from the pitch since September 2023 — when a doping ban forced him to step away from competition. His initial four-year punishment was successfully reduced to 18 months.

Pogba, who has been permitted to train since January 2025, is now ready to sign a two-year contract with the club that will compete in Champions League next season. The 2018 World Cup winner with France national team has been a free agent for the past seven months.
