Paul Pogba officially joins AS Monaco after long absence

According to AS Monaco’s official website, Paul Pogba has officially joined the French Ligue 1 club on Saturday (28/6) — ending his extended absence from professional football.

The 2018 World Cup winner with France has signed a two-year contract — binding him to the Monegasque club until June 30, 2027.

“AS Monaco is delighted to announce the arrival of Paul Pogba. The world champion has signed a two-year contract and will principally remain with the club until June 30, 2027,” stated the club’s official announcement.

This move marks Pogba’s return to the pitch after nearly two years away — due to a combination of injury and a playing ban related to doping issues.
