Paul Pogba harshly criticizes Juventus ahead of AS Monaco move

According to TF1 Info, Paul Pogba is on the verge of joining AS Monaco after being a free agent for the past seven months.

The 32-year-old midfielder — who has been absent from football since September 2023 due to a doping case — has launched sharp criticism at his former club Juventus.

“They didn’t really support me. I was very hurt. I don’t understand why, because I was fighting against doping, not against Juve,” Pogba stated.

The French national team player initially received a four-year sanction, which was later reduced to 18 months in February 2024. Juventus decided to terminate his contract in November 2024.

“It was very difficult. I wasn’t ready. Four years at once for doping, without explanation and without anyone listening to me,” he added.

Now Pogba is ready to start a new chapter with AS Monaco — the club that finished third in French League last season and will compete in Champions League. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the French player will sign a two-year contract.
