Paul Pogba Agrees to Join AS Monaco After Ban Period

According to ESPN, Paul Pogba has reached a verbal agreement with AS Monaco for a two-year contract — after rejecting a substantial offer from a Saudi Pro League club.

The French midfielder has just completed his suspension due to a doping case. In February 2024, he received a four-year ban after testing positive for DHEA — a prohibited substance in sports.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport later reduced Pogba’s punishment to 18 months following an appeal, with the ban ending this past March.
