Paul Munster reveals tactical reason for playing Malik Risaldi as defender

Coach Paul Munster revealed the tactical reasoning behind his decision to deploy Malik Risaldi as a defender when Persebaya Surabaya drew 1-1 against Persija Jakarta at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The draw meant Persebaya — who have collected 49 points — failed to overtake Dewa United for second place in Group C of Liga 1.

Meanwhile, Persija Jakarta had to settle for fifth position with 44 points — after Malut United climbed to fourth place thanks to a 3-1 victory over Persis Solo which increased their points tally to 46.
