Paul Munster returns to lead Bhayangkara FC for 2025-2026 season

Paul Munster has been officially appointed as Bhayangkara FC’s head coach for the 2025-2026 Liga 1 season — marking the Swedish coach’s return to his former club.

The 43-year-old previously managed Bhayangkara FC from 2019 to 2022 — during which he successfully led the club to consistent top-table finishes in Liga 1.

After leaving Bhayangkara FC, Munster served as Technical Director for the Brunei national team for two years before returning to Indonesia to coach Persebaya for one season.

Despite receiving several offers from other clubs, Munster chose to return to Bhayangkara FC — the club where he achieved significant success in the past.
