Paul Ince Arrested by Police for Drunk Driving

Cheshire Police announced that Paul Ince, former Manchester United and England midfielder, has been arrested on drunk driving charges.

The incident involved a black Range Rover that crashed into the central road barrier. Officers arriving at the scene detained the 57-year-old man — who was later identified as Ince, a resident of Quarry Road, Neston.

Ince, who collected 53 caps with England and won two Premier League titles during his six-year career at Manchester United, will attend a court hearing on July 18.

After retiring as a player, Paul Ince began his coaching career — winning the League Two title with Milton Keynes Dons in the 2007-08 season and most recently managing Reading in the 2022-23 season.
