Pau Victor fails to shine in his first Barcelona season

Pau Victor — who was permanently signed by Barcelona from Girona in summer 2024 — has failed to show his best performance in Blaugrana’s first team.

The young striker previously impressed with Barca Atletic, scoring 18 goals in 35 matches in the third division during 2023-2024 season — an achievement that earned him comparisons to Luis Suarez.

However, after promotion to the senior team, Victor’s performance saw a significant decline — from total 29 appearances across all competitions last season, he only managed to contribute two goals and one assist.
