Patrick Kluivert — head coach of the Indonesia national football team — has officially begun the training camp in Bali to prepare for two crucial matches in the 2026 World Cup Asian Qualifiers next month.

In an interview on the official Indonesia national team YouTube channel, Kluivert explained the reason behind choosing the training location at the Bali United Training Center in Gianyar:

“The atmosphere is amazing, the pitch is excellent, and that’s the most important thing. For me, the air is fresh.”

The Garuda squad is scheduled to face tough opponents, China and Japan, in Group C of the third round. Responding to the challenge, Kluivert expressed his optimism:

“It’s important for me to respect both countries. But I think we have a good chance to beat China.”

This training camp runs from May 26 to 31, 2025, and is a critical part of the team’s preparation to secure a ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
