Patrick Kluivert shares memorable experience from coaching internship under Ange Postecoglou

Patrick Kluivert — Indonesia National Team coach — shared memorable experiences during a press conference in Sydney ahead of the highly anticipated match against Australia.

During the media session at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Kluivert recalled his internship at Brisbane Roar about fifteen years ago — when he served as assistant coach to Ange Postecoglou.

“Yes, that was at the beginning of my coaching career, and what I did in Brisbane was only for 2 months,” stated Kluivert. “I left because I had the same manager at that time, but Ange was fantastic.”

Both coaches have since taken different paths — Postecoglou leads Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, while Kluivert focuses on managing the Indonesia national team.
