According to PSSI official website, Patrick Kluivert — successor to Shin Tae-yong — will begin his era with Indonesia national team in tomorrow’s match against Australia.

Significant changes are expected in team formation — the Dutch coach plans to alter the defensive five-back approach frequently used in the previous era.

“My first impression is very good. We conducted a series of passing drills and possession games. I see quality in their play,” stated Kluivert.

“We came here to get a good result, and a good result means victory,” he added.

To maintain team stability, the 48-year-old coach will likely retain the majority of senior players — a strategy deemed appropriate to avoid excessive disruption in the Garuda squad.
