Pato experiences performance decline at Borneo FC after China return

Alexandre Pato has experienced a significant performance decline since rejoining Borneo FC — the Brazilian striker only managed to score two goals from 13 appearances with Shandong Taishan.

After a brief period in the Chinese Super League, Pato decided to return to Indonesia by joining Borneo FC in Liga 1 2024-2025 — however his goal statistics have not shown meaningful improvement.

The experienced striker’s goal record at Borneo FC remains suboptimal — he has only collected six goals from 17 appearances in the domestic competition this season.
