Parivision’s Slump at Blast Slam 3 No Surprise to Yatoro as He Sends Them Packing

Team Spirit’s Dota 2 ace, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, recently shared his thoughts on Parivision’s performance after their dramatic playoff showdown at Blast Slam 3 last night (8/5).

Despite fielding relatively weak drafts, Spirit pulled off a surprising 2-1 victory over Parivision, securing their spot in the quarterfinals and eliminating Parivision from the tournament.

The result came as a bit of surprise, given Spirit’s weaker performance compared to Parivision during the group stage. However, Yatoro noted that Parivision’s noticeable decline in form was something he had anticipated even before the match began.

“Parivision usually plays well, but they’re in a slump now. We’ve seen their games and drafts,” Yatoro said on Telegram.

He also noticed that his team is currently in better shape, thanks to a lighter tournament schedule allowing players to rest adequately. Spirit will face Tidebound later today to compete for a second spot in the semifinals.
