Parivision’s hot prospect, Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov, has shared his insights on the latest midlane meta that got competitive Dota 2 viewers buzzing. He emphasized that his team’s unique approach to the evolving strategy grants them a distinct competitive edge.

During a recent interview at ESL One Raleigh 2025, the Russian youngster acknowledged the widespread attention his team’s aggressive playstyle has garnered. He highlighted their focus on midlane support during team fights as a defining feature of their gameplay.

“I think Parivision popularized the meta where teams actively assist their mid. But now we play more side lanes.”

The tactical choice has definitely paid off. At the moment, the Ukrainian is dominating the tournament, finishing the group stage with a stellar 9-1 record—surpassing fan-favorite teams like Team Spirit and Team Liquid.

However, the current meta has sparked controversy within the team. Gallyamov’s teammate, Volodymyr “no[o]ne” Milenko, criticized the constraints of Patch 7.38c, arguing it restricts midlaners to a narrow hero pool.
