Parivision’s offlaner Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin has further fueled the rivalry between his team and Team Spirit, whom they recently defeated, with a jab at Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk.

During a recent livestream, the Russian player dismissed Yatoro’s status as an elite carry, citing the Spirit star’s absence from the top 15 of the European Dota 2 leaderboard. DM argued that the current competitive carry meta is easier compared to previous seasons, as supports have grown significantly stronger in the latest patch, making the role easier to play.

“If you play carry and you have a rank below 10th, you’re just the low skillest player in the world. Those who have a rank below rank 100, then forget it altogether. You can end your career right away. It’s easy to play as a carry now, because supports got stronger” he remarked.

Yatoro, in fact, has yet to break into the top 15. Meanwhile, DM and his former teammate Alan ‘satanic’ Gallyamov currently hold 4th and 6th positions, respectively.

However, DM’s sarcastic remarks hardly reflect the real-world performance of professional players. In addition of Yatoro, many have witnessed non-top 10 players like Quinn “Quinn” Callahan and Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov (currently on hiatus) who captivate audiences with their impressive mechanical prowess at big stages.
