Palermo ready to sign Emil Audero permanently from Como

Palermo has shown serious intent to sign Emil Audero permanently from Como in this summer’s transfer window.

The 28-year-old Indonesian national team goalkeeper — who previously played for Juventus — has become the main target for the City Football Group-owned club following his impressive loan spell last season.

During his loan period in the second half of the 2024-2025 season, Audero recorded solid statistics with Il Rosanero:

  • 14 appearances in Serie B
  • 20 goals conceded
  • 3 clean sheets

The Italian-born goalkeeper’s excellent performance nearly helped Palermo secure promotion to Serie A — prompting the Sicilian club to pursue his permanent transfer from Como.
