Pakistan Takes 2-0 Lead Over Indonesia in Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers First Half

Pakistan women’s national team holds a 2-0 advantage over Indonesia in the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers Group D match at Sport Centre Kelapa Dua Tangerang Stadium.

Indonesia created an early opportunity through a header — but Pakistan’s defense managed to neutralize the threat. Pakistan took the lead in the 8th minute when Nadia’s shot deflected off Gea and changed direction into the net — leaving goalkeeper Iris Joska helpless.

Sheva Imut attempted a shot from outside the penalty box in the 12th minute — but her effort went wide of the left post. Pakistan doubled their lead from the penalty spot after Emily Julia fouled Mariam Mahmood, with Suha Hiraini successfully converting the spot kick.

Indonesia continued their search for a goal through several chances:

  • Viny Silfianus’s shot that went wide to the right
  • Felicia Victor’s low drive that narrowly missed the target
