Pakistan stuns Indonesia in Women’s Asia Cup Qualifiers

Pakistan women’s national team coach Adeel Mirza Rizki led his team to a 2-0 victory over Indonesia in the Group D match of the 2026 Asia Cup Qualifiers at Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang.

This victory came as a major surprise — considering Indonesia actually dominated throughout the match with Shafira Ika and her teammates continuously pressing Pakistan’s defense.

Rizki’s team proved their playing effectiveness — each counterattack they launched resulted in decisive goals.

This achievement becomes even more special as Pakistan had just suffered a heavy 0-8 defeat to Taiwan a few days ago.
