Pablo Torre One Step Away from Joining Mallorca from Barcelona

Pablo Torre is on the verge of moving to Mallorca after reaching personal terms with the LaLiga club. ESPN sources confirm a meeting between Mallorca and Torre’s team took place last Thursday.

The 22-year-old midfielder is attracted to Mallorca’s project — both clubs now only need to discuss the final transfer fee. Barcelona plans to retain 50% of the player’s future sale value.

Despite limited playing time last season, Torre showed high effectiveness with three goals and four assists in total 421 minutes of appearance. The young player also recently represented Spain U-21 at the European Championship, where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

Funds from Torre’s sale will help Barcelona, who are still constrained by financial restrictions, to bring in new players this season.
