Oxford United with Marselino and Romeny ready to enliven President’s Cup 2025

Oxford United — a newly promoted Championship club — will participate in the 2025 President’s Cup featuring two Indonesian players, Marselino Ferdinan and Ole Romeny.

PSSI under Erick Thohir’s leadership deliberately invited foreign clubs with Indonesian players, including Thailand League’s Port FC which has Asnawi Mangkualam in their squad.

This pre-season tournament will serve as preparation for The U’s before their Championship 2025/26 campaign. Under manager Gary Rowett, the club has maintained its position in England’s second tier following last season’s promotion.

Ole Romeny has proven his quality at this level by recording 14 appearances and one goal since joining in January.
