Owen Rahadiyan ready to lead Persipura back to Liga 1

Owen Rahadiyan officially takes the position of Persipura Jayapura manager — the team that will compete in Liga 2 2025/2026.

The Black Pearl team is now undergoing training camp at Yogyakarta State University, Wates, Kulon Progo — a program running from early July to mid-August 2025.

Under the leadership of coach Ricardo Salampessy, a squad of 35 players — including three foreign players and majority native Papuan talent — prepares for the new competition season.

“I trust coach Ricardo’s decisions. This team has extraordinary spirit to shine again,” states Rahadiyan who chooses not to interfere with team technical matters.
