Our Motorsports Announces Retirement from NASCAR After Dover Race

Our Motorsports has announced it will end its NASCAR Xfinity Series operations after this weekend’s race at Dover — concluding the team’s five-and-a-half-year journey in competition.

The team, which has competed since 2020, recorded achievements with nine top-five finishes, 41 top-ten finishes, and one pole position at Portland three years ago. Kaz Grala will drive the No. 5 Ferguson Chevrolet in the team’s final race.

“Our Motorsports and Kris Wright have officially parted ways following the Sonoma race on July 15, 2025. Our Motorsports will complete its season on Saturday in Dover with Kaz Grala. Our Motorsports will cease operations in NASCAR moving forward. Thank you to NASCAR, Chevrolet, the fans, employees, and drivers, for a good ride over the last 6 years,” read the team’s official statement.

Kaz Grala, who has experience across all three national divisions and a win in the NASCAR Truck Series, responded to the announcement:

“Grateful that Our Motorsports reached out and wanted to race together this weekend as they close this chapter as a team. We’re gonna give it all we’ve got to cap things off on a high note tomorrow!”

The team currently sits 29th in the drivers’ standings — a significant drop from last season when Anthony Alfredo finished 15th in the final standings.
