Oscar Piastri Leads F1 Standings, Stays Humble

Oscar Piastri remains humble despite leading the Formula 1 championship for the first time in his career. The 24-year-old McLaren driver now holds a 10-point lead after winning three of the last four races.

“Winning races is fun right now. Leading the championship is great, but I’m prouder of the work behind it and the reasons I’m leading, rather than just the fact that I am,” said Piastri ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

The Australian driver has shown impressive form, outperforming Lando Norris in three of five qualifying sessions this season. Norris, once the team favorite, trails with just one win compared to Piastri’s three.

The title fight is heating up with Max Verstappen of Red Bull in third place — only 12 points behind Piastri. Despite topping the standings, Piastri insists his focus remains on improving performance and adapting to the MCL39 car on each track.
