Oscar Bobb determined to stay at Manchester City next season

Speaking directly to media, 21-year-old Oscar Bobb has expressed his determination to stay at Manchester City next season — following a difficult period due to a leg fracture injury.

The Norwegian player showed impressive form during last pre-season before injury hampered his progress — limiting him to just three Premier League appearances.

“I expect to be here. I think that’s the way I have to look at it and try to impress every chance I get and just be ready,” said Bobb.

After recovering in February, Bobb is now building fitness with Pep Guardiola’s squad at the Club World Cup. He has featured as a substitute against Wydad AC and Al Ain — even scoring in the 6-0 victory over the latter.

“It was tough at times, but the club offered great support and I was always thinking of coming back stronger,” he added.
