Weeks ago, Yeb returned as interim coach for Onic ID, replacing Adi “Adi” Asyauri, who allegedly struggled to optimize team strategies during the Regular Season. He quickly earned praise for his positive influence on team morale within a short period of time.

The players and coaching staff who previously worked with the Filipino coach in recent seasons before his retirement ahead of Season 15 also acknowledged his impact. His return saw the Yellow Porcupines adopt their signature aggressive playstyle, passing the test by toppling top dogs like RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid ID.

In a recent MPL interview, Kiboy—a key player in Yeb’s strategy—explained that the coach emphasizes a relaxed yet disciplined approach.
