Onic ID Rookie Eyes EWC 2025

Despite his status as a rookie at MPL ID Season 15, Onic ID’s academy graduate Clayton “Savero” Adrielo shows no sign of pressure and is focusing on reclaiming the title for his team.

Following a victory over Geek Fam 3-1 today, Savero stated in a post-match interview that simply reaching the Upper Bracket finals isn’t enough as his team aims to win the season to qualify for Esports World Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia, set to commence next month.

“(Upper Bracket) is not enough. We want to win this season and go to EWC.”

Given their current form and the return of legendary coach Paul “Yeb” Denver, the Yellow Porcupine army has returned as one of title contenders for Season 15. Victory in this season would be a sweet revenge, especially after Season 14’s disappointment.

For young Savero, it would be a remarkable personal achievement for him to reach EWC in his first MPL debut.
