Oni Junianto Officially Leads Jakarta Taekwondo for 2025-2029 Period

The Jakarta Provincial Board of Indonesian Taekwondo held its new leadership inauguration at MPH Putri Duyung Building, Ancol, Jakarta. Major General Dr. Oni Junianto officially leads the organization for the 2025-2029 period after being inaugurated by PBTI Chairman Lieutenant General Richard T.H. Tampubolon.

“We have made changes to this organization, refreshing several positions in the management,” stated Oni Junianto to media after the inauguration ceremony.

The 51-year-old leader outlined his vision to elevate Jakarta Taekwondo to a higher level — with the main focus on performance improvement at PON 2028.

“We are strongly targeting, hoping that at PON 2028 we can improve results from previous achievements,” he added.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno — demonstrating local government support for martial arts development in the capital city.
