Oleksandriya vs Partizan: Europa Conference League Prediction (25.07.2025)

On Thursday, July 25, at 00:00 WIB, Ukrainian club Oleksandriya will face Serbian side Partizan Belgrade at the GKS Stadium in Katowice, Poland, in the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League 2025–2026 qualifying tie. The nominal hosts qualified for this stage as runners-up of the Ukrainian Premier League. Partizan also finished second in Serbia and initially participated in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, but were eliminated by AEK Larnaca in a penalty shootout, dropping to the Conference League.

In the Oleksandriya vs Partizan matchup, bookmakers slightly favor the Ukrainian side. A win for the “Yellow and Blacks” in the first leg is priced at 2.36, while their odds to advance to the next round stand at 1.65. For the “Black and Whites,” the odds are 2.92 to win and 2.15 to qualify. A moderately high-scoring game is expected, with odds of 2.25 for over 2.5 total goals and 1.96 for both teams to score.

Oleksandriya

Under Ruslan Rotan, the “Yellow and Blacks” pulled off a real surprise in the recent Ukrainian Premier League season by disrupting the usual dominance of Dynamo and Shakhtar. Securing second place with a comfortable points cushion over Shakhtar, Oleksandriya earned a direct spot in the second qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.

However, Rotan has since moved to another Ukrainian club, Polissya, and Oleksandriya is now led by the relatively inexperienced 33-year-old Kyrylo Nesterenko. So far, the team’s performance in friendly matches has been disappointing — four losses in five games during the first half of July against rather modest European opponents. Additionally, several key players have departed for Metalist 1925.

Partizan

Srdjan Blagojevic’s team put in a lackluster showing against AEK Larnaca. In the away leg, the Serbian side failed to create any real danger. At home, however, the fervent support of the “Gravediggers” played a big role. The passionate atmosphere gave the “Black and Whites” some much-needed energy, allowing them to come back twice: first to level the score in regular time, and then again in the second half of extra time. Unfortunately, they lost in the penalty shootout and emotions boiled over, resulting in a post-match brawl. It would have been better to channel all that energy into the match itself.

Stats and Head-to-Head Record

This will be the first ever meeting between Oleksandriya and Partizan in European competition.

Prediction

There are major doubts surrounding Oleksandriya’s weakened squad under the young coach Kyrylo Nesterenko. While Partizan are not a top-tier team either, they have already tasted the heat of competitive fixtures this season. We recommend a bet on Partizan with a handicap of 0 at odds of 2.08.
