According to Oxford Mail, Ole Romeny is going through a difficult period with Oxford United, who are now in danger of relegation from the Championship, the second tier of English football.

Oxford United, nicknamed The U’s, are currently just three points clear of the relegation zone with two matches remaining. A 1-1 draw against Cardiff City — a direct rival in the lower table — has further complicated their situation.

Ole Romeny, who joined during the January transfer window, has yet to make a significant impact. The Indonesia national team striker has only scored one goal in 13 appearances, and in the last three matches, he has mostly started on the bench.

“I’m not worried at all. I think this squad is full of strong characters,” said head coach Gary Rowett.

Oxford United still have to face Sunderland at home and Swansea City away. The coach has opted to rely on Mark Harris and Tom Bradshaw — strikers with more experience in English football — to secure the club’s place in the Championship.
