Ole Romeny proved decisive in Indonesia’s national team victory against Bahrain during the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Asian Zone match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

The naturalized striker scored the lone goal in the 24th minute — capitalizing on a precise pass from Marselino Ferdinan that led the Red and White team to a 1-0 victory in their eighth Group C match.

This marks Romeny’s second goal for the Indonesian national team — following his debut goal against Australia five days ago, despite Indonesia suffering a 5-1 defeat in Sydney.

With this win, Indonesia strengthens its position in Group C, boosting its chances of advancing to the next round. The team’s defensive resilience and growing attacking synergy under coach Patrick Kluivert continue to show promise as they prepare for the next stage of qualification.
