Ole Romeny Calls for Indonesia to Rise After Japan Defeat

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia national team striker, Ole Romeny, calls for optimism after a heavy defeat to Japan in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

The Garuda Squad suffered a 0-6 loss to host Japan in their final Group C third round match at Suita City Football Stadium, Osaka — despite having already secured qualification for the next round.

Coach Patrick Kluivert still fielded his strongest lineup for this match — but Hajime Moriyasu’s side proved too strong to handle.

“We need to keep our heads up and focus on the fourth round,” said Romeny after the match.

The “Red and White” team struggled to develop their game from the start, while Wataru Endo and his teammates kept launching attack after attack at Indonesia’s defense.
