A shocking rumor has emerged from OG’s camp regarding a potential major overhaul of their Dota 2 roster. Following recent squad cuts, it appears the position 1 role, currently held by David “Parker” Flores, may soon be vacated for a new player.

According to leaks circulating on social media, OG’s legendary captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov has reportedly conducted trials with new players, excluding Parker. Based on their scrimmage results, Puppey has experimented with a lineup featuring Kyial “Kami” Tayirov (Night Pulse), Vitaliy “Worick” Brezgin (Night Pulse), Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn (Heroic), and Thiago “Thiolicor” Cordeiro (Shopify Rebellion).

There is currently no further information on whether Parker will be removed outright or transitioned to a bench role for the revamped squad. However, if the former scenario unfolds, OG would need to pay compensation fees, as the Peruvian player’s contract extends beyond 2025.

This decision likely stems from the team’s dismal performance in recent months. Notably, their last major tournament victory dates back to October 2024 at PGL Wallachia Season 2. Since then, they have failed to qualify for any premier tournaments in the first quarter of this year.

Such a decline is undeniably unacceptable for a legendary organization of OG’s caliber. They must act decisively to avoid following in the footsteps of Team Secret, which remains mired in a performance crisis to this day.
