Nova Arianto Urges Focus as Indonesia U-17 Prepare for Final Group Match vs Afghanistan

Indonesia U-17 national team coach, Nova Arianto, has issued a firm reminder to his squad to maintain focus and avoid complacency ahead of their final Group C match against Afghanistan in the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup.

Despite already securing qualification to the U-17 World Cup and topping their group with two wins, Nova insists the job is not yet finished. Their upcoming clash against Afghanistan — a team already eliminated following two losses — must still be approached with discipline and high intensity.

“My message to the players is to forget the World Cup qualification euphoria,” Nova told BolaSport.com. “I want to see the same focus as before we qualified — taking it one game at a time.”
