Nova Arianto reveals Indra Sjafri’s role behind U-17 national team success

Nova Arianto, Indonesia U-17 national team coach, expressed his gratitude to Indra Sjafri who has made significant contributions to his career journey until today.

A historic achievement has been recorded — Indonesia U-17 national team qualified for the 2025 U-17 World Cup through qualifiers for the first time, unlike their previous appearance as hosts in the 2023 edition.

Despite securing the World Cup ticket, Nova Arianto’s squad led by captain I Putu Panji Apriawan still has to compete in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup — they will face North Korea in the quarter-finals.
