Nova Arianto leads Indonesia U-17 team to 2025 World Cup

Nova Arianto has successfully guided Indonesia U-17 national team to qualify for the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Qatar. This achievement comes after the Garuda Asia team’s perfect performance in the Asian Cup U-17 group stage with three consecutive victories.

The tournament, scheduled for November 5-27, 2025, in Qatar — becomes the team’s target for optimal preparation. As Group C winners, Indonesia secured automatic qualification for this prestigious event.

“The biggest lesson came against North Korea,” stated Nova Arianto regarding the valuable learning experience from their Asian Cup quarter-final defeat.

The national team coach acknowledged — a lack of player focus was the main factor in their loss to North Korea in the quarter-finals. This experience will serve as evaluation material heading into the World Cup.
