Nova Arianto focuses on diaspora player selection for U-17 World Cup

Nova Arianto, Indonesia’s U-17 national team coach, has set the main focus of the training camp in Bali — selecting diaspora players for the 2025 U-17 World Cup.

The Garuda Asia team coach has called up 34 players for the training camp in Bali — nine of them are diaspora players who haven’t joined during the U-17 Asian Cup.

Indonesia is placed in Group H of the 2025 U-17 World Cup alongside:

• Brazil
• Honduras
• Zambia

The tournament to be held in Qatar in November 2025 is the team’s main target — the month-long training camp in Bali serves as the initial preparation step for this world-level competition.
