Nottingham Forest secured a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the closing match of Premier League Matchweek 33 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday (April 22) early morning WIB.

The visitors took the lead through a goal by Elliot Andersen, followed by a second from Chris Wood, giving Forest a two-goal advantage by halftime. Richarlison pulled one back for Spurs in the 87th minute, but it wasn’t enough to prevent defeat.

This result marks a vital win for Nottingham Forest in their effort to avoid relegation. Meanwhile, the defeat leaves Nuno Espirito Santo’s side struggling in 16th place with 37 points.

A similar fate befell fellow Europa League semifinalist Manchester United, who also suffered a domestic league defeat this week.
