Norris suffers minor incident after historic British GP victory

Lando Norris had to skip the traditional fan celebration after the British GP — a photographer accidentally fell on him while at the pit straight debris fence.

The McLaren driver attempted to climb the fence to celebrate his maiden home GP victory with the packed crowd. However, the fence structure collapsed as several photographers climbed ahead of him, causing one of them to fall onto Norris.

“It’s beautiful. Everything I dreamed of. Apart from a championship, I think this is as good as it gets in terms of feelings and achievement,” Norris expressed after the race.

“Incredible race, stressful as always, but the support from the fans made the difference today, so I’ve got to thank them for it all,” he added.

Norris also praised his teammate Oscar Piastri who finished behind him. This result brings Norris closer to the championship lead — now just eight points behind current leader Piastri.
