Nine Indonesian representatives ready for Japan Open 2025 opening day

According to BWF, nine Indonesian representatives will compete on the first day of Japan Open 2025 at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium — including the debut of new men’s doubles pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Indonesia’s campaign will begin with men’s singles player Alwi Farhan facing Taiwan’s Lee Chia Hao on court 3 at 07:10 WIB. The 2023 junior world champion faces a tough challenge — considering Lee’s recent achievement as All England Open finalist few months ago.

Another men’s singles player, Jonatan Christie, will also compete on the same day. Meanwhile, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting is scheduled to appear on the tournament’s second day.
