Following disappointing results in their last two major tournaments, Talon Esports has finally begun overhauling its roster, starting with the departure of carry player John “Natsumi” Vargas.

No official announcement has been made yet regarding a potential replacement for the Filipino player. But given the team’s track records, there is speculation that they may consider the spot for the former carry Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, whose contract with OG expired last month.

If the rumor proves true, Talon could significantly bolster their strength for upcoming competitions. Notably, 23savage was a crucial part of Talon during their previous international campaigns and has demonstrated stronger synergy with current members of the squad, particularly with midlaner Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman.

On the other hand, Natsumi appeared to struggle with Talon Esports’ strategy in certain drafts. Despite showing flashes of strong gameplay during his initial stint as a stand-in for the team, his performance proved inconsistent over time. He also drew criticism from the community for disrupting the team’s dynamics.
