Nathan Tjoe-A-On faces pressure to end his tenure at Swansea City — the club he joined last season but has yet to make a significant impact.

The left-back who transferred from Excelsior has struggled to adapt in England’s second tier. Despite regular appearances in Dutch competition, Tjoe-A-On only made his official debut eight months ago.

The Indonesian national team player’s appearance record remains minimal — just one Championship match and two Carabao Cup games last August. Since then, his role has been limited to the substitute bench and he often misses the match squad entirely.

In the Indonesian national team, Tjoe-A-On also faces tough competition with Calvin Verdonk and Dean James for the left-back position. His shift to midfield proved unsuccessful as he lost his spot to Joey Pelupessy.
