MPL Malaysia Transfer Shakeup: Indonesian Talent Flood In

The recently concluded MPL Malaysia transfer window has set a new record for Indonesian player acquisitions. A total of 11 Indonesian players will compete in the upcoming MPL MY Season 15, surpassing the previous two seasons’ tally of 8 imported players. Of these 11 players, 3 are returning from last season, while 8 are new signings.

In contrast, the number of Filipino players in MPL MY has dropped significantly, shrinking from 10 to 6 this season. Most now represent Selangor Red Giants OG Esports and Team Vamos.

MPL MY Season 15 will officially begin this Saturday, April 16th, with an opening match between SRG OG and Team Vamos. Given both teams’ recent performances, this showdown promises not only excitement but also a good chance to see how good their new comps are now.
