MPL ID Teases New Collaboration Project with NBA

Moonton Indonesia has teased their latest collaboration project with the NBA, which still lacks a confirmed release date and definitive form of partnership.

Via social media, Moonton ID, via the MLBB Pro League Indonesia, shared a brief teaser announcing that the collaboration with the NBA will soon be officially unveiled alongside the league. In the coming weeks, they will periodically share updates until the project’s release date is finalized.

It’s worth noting that while this marks Moonton’s first cross-industry collaboration project, it is not the first in the mobile esports scene. A similar initiative was launched in 2018 by the King Premier League (Honor of Kings’ competitive circuit) in China. Additionally, last year, they collaborated with the NBA again, introducing a special skin featuring Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

This project is highly anticipated, as both leagues boast passionate fan bases. Through this partnership, the NBA could attract new followers from MPL ID’s audience, while Moonton may gain exposure to basketball enthusiasts overseas.
