Mohamed Salah Jadi Pemain Asing Tersubur di Liga Inggris

Mohamed Salah has made history in the Premier League by becoming the top-scoring foreign player — surpassing the previous record held by Manchester City legend Sergio Agüero.

The Egyptian forward netted his 185th goal during the match against Tottenham Hotspur, helping Liverpool take a 4-1 lead at Anfield. This milestone came after he had equaled Agüero‘s record in a match against Southampton last month.

Salah, who recently extended his contract for another two years, achieved this feat in just 297 Premier League appearances since joining Liverpool almost eight years ago. His first two goals in the competition were scored with Chelsea around 11 years ago.

Currently, Salah ranks fifth on the Premier League’s all-time top scorers list:

  • Alan Shearer: 260 goals
  • Harry Kane: 213 goals
  • Wayne Rooney: 208 goals
  • Andy Cole: 187 goals
  • Mohamed Salah: 185 goals

This season, the 32-year-old striker has contributed to 46 goals in the Premier League, just one short of the record for most goal contributions in a single season, shared by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.
