Mohamed Salah close to signing new contract with Liverpool

According to Metro.co.uk, Mohamed Salah is now almost certain to extend his contract with Liverpool for next season — ending speculation about his future at the club.

The Egyptian player’s contract situation had previously been a major concern for The Reds — given his status as the team’s main striker who has been with the club for eight years.

“I haven’t received an offer to stay at the club, so I’m more likely to leave than stay,” Salah stated last December. “I’ve been at the club for many years. There’s no club like this one, but ultimately the decision is in my hands.”
