Mohamed Salah Confident of Winning Ballon d’Or This Year

Mohamed Salah believes this season presents his best opportunity yet to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or, which will be awarded in Paris this September.

The 32-year-old Liverpool forward has delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 28 goals and providing 18 assists in the Premier League, helping Arne Slot’s side clinch the title.

“I’ve never had a season like this with a major trophy, so this is my best chance to win it because it’s been an incredible year,” Salah told Sky Sports.

He faces tough competition from Lamine Yamal of Barcelona and Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain, who also led their clubs to league titles.

“That’s absolutely right. He’s had a great season with Liverpool, but this one might be the best in terms of statistics,” said manager Arne Slot. “If there’s ever a time for him to win it, it’s now.”
