Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, currently embroiled in the controversy over Moonton’s partnership rules, has stated he has no desire to continue professionally in MLBB and planned to shift his focus to its competitor.

During his recent livestream, Zane criticized Moonton’s decisions as inconsistent and insulting to pros who seek extra income by promoting other games. This, he says, has killed his motivation to pursue further achievements in MLBB.

The North American player has now set his sights seriously on Honor of Kings, MLBB biggest competitor, while emphasized his gratitude to the HoK promotion team for supporting him and his teammates during their current dispute with Moonton.

“I actually did want to grind YSS and get him global. But MLBB has just spit on everybody’s face. And for me to ignore that and still play, I cannot do it. Nope. I can’t accept them spitting on all of our faces and still playing their game.

“I might actually switch to HoK, I might do it. You know, HoK was amazing throughout all of this. They knew all about the complications and stuff. They were trying to help as much as they could. Well, maybe not that much. But they were helping a decent amount though.”

Zane also declared that the MLBB pro scene doesn’t matter to him anymore, as he believes the professional MLBB scene in North America is already on its last leg. He further revealed North America has lost its slot for the upcoming M7 World Championship in Indonesia this year, so the slot will likely be given to other regions.

So far, Zane’s teammates in S8UL have not responded to his statements or Moonton’s decision regarding the penalty for the MSC x EWC 2025 slot.
