Mirko Backs Yeb to Power Onic ID’s MPL ID S15 Playoff Run

Popular MLBB esports caster Frederick “Mirko” Loho recently repped Onic ID as one of the MPL ID teams likely to go far in the upcoming MPL ID Season 15 playoffs.

Speaking on WAHAI Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Mirko explained that coach Paul “Yeb” Denver’s arrival brought stability to Onic ID. The team had struggled earlier in Season 15, even falling into the elimination zone. Yeb’s positive impact was clear—he quickly lifted the Yellow Porcupine army from 7th place to 3rd by the end of the group stage.

“I believe one person can make that big a difference. Even though many thought Yeb couldn’t have an immediate effect when he joined.”

The players had many issues—not just drafting. I’ve always felt what makes Onic special isn’t just having Kairi, Sanz, or Kiboy, it’s Yeb’s leadership.”

Mirko believes Onic ID’s current form makes them a serious threat to other playoff contenders—including statistically strong teams like RRQ Hoshi and Geek Fam.

As their roster largely unchanged from past seasons, it’s no surprise Yeb and Onic ID are now strong favorites to reclaim the trophy after falling short last season.
