Mindfreak Returns for VCT Pacific 2025 Playoffs

After being absent from the Paper Rex squad for some time, Aaron “Mindfreak” Leonheart has finally confirmed his return as the team prepares to compete in the lower bracket playoffs of the VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1 in Seoul, South Korea.

Via his latest Instagram post, it was revealed that he has flown back to the tournament venue this weekend. Previously, the 25-year-old left the team and went to his home town due to urgent family matters, as he mentioned during a livestream a while back.

In his absence, the team played with new recruit Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, who helped secure victories over Detonation FocusMe and Global Esports to lock in the final playoff spot. However, the squad appeared inconsistent and struggled to close out matches that should have been easy for them.

PRX will play in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs on May 3rd, facing off against T1. Given their current roster, the Singaporean powerhouse will undoubtedly need an experienced player like Mindfreak to dominate the match and keep their hopes alive for advancing to the next stage.
