Mindfreak Absent as Paper Rex Reveals EWC 2025 Roster

In a surprising move, Paper Rex has decided to bring the very same squad from Masters Toronto to compete in the EWC 2025 tournament starting this evening.

Per official information, the PRX lineup will feature Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza, Ilya “something” Petrov, Wang “Jinggg” Jie, Khalish “d4v4i” Rusyaidee, and Jason “f0rsaken” Susanto. The only player missing here is Aaron “mindfreak” Leonheart, who last joined the team in Toronto.

This news raises some concern among fans. After Masters Toronto, mindfreak was planned to replace Jinggg due to Jinggg’s hand injury. This, however, suggests the Singaporean has made a remarkably quick recovery and is fit to play.

Meanwhile, mindfreak stated he will support the team from the PRX headquarters via livestream throughout the EWC. He has previously helped the team as an assistant coach to Alexandre “alecks” Sallé and is considered crucial for boosting team morale.

So far, there’s been no further explanation for mindfreak’s exclusion from the squad, other than the team having already decided on a fixed roster without a substitute.
